Are there, perhaps, any plans for The Belmont Foundation to be a catalyst within the local church to step into meaningful mentoring relationships with young WOMEN who are growing up without fathers, in addition to young men? Just wondering…

    Stacy-

Thanks for your question. There is no doubt that young women growing up without fathers have their own unique set of challenges. We will be working over the next year or so with a team of women who will help us understand those challenges as we design an initiative that addresses them. Please stay in touch with us.

I’m so glad to learn a plan is in the works for this mission. It’s something I’ve always wanted to get involved with, but wasn’t quite sure how. I will keep an eye on what the Belmont Foundation comes up with as inspiration for a solution in my own community.
